Translate dense scientific research into clear, fundable pitches, and prepare first-time founders to deliver them to investors.

Bloomberg Philanthropies
Overview
After Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017, Bloomberg Philanthropies led one of the most comprehensive private disaster recovery efforts in the territory's history, coordinating relief, infrastructure rebuilding, and long-term energy resilience planning across the islands.
Challenge
Translate a complex, multi-year recovery effort into a single comprehensive report that could communicate results to stakeholders and unlock additional funding for continued rebuilding
Service & Role
Narrative strategy and long-form writing.
Output
A 300-page report documenting the recovery, the coordination model between government, private sector, and philanthropy, and the lessons for future disaster response. The report framed the territory's recovery as a replicable model for resilient rebuilding. Given to the Governor of the USVI.
Results
The report was published by Bloomberg Philanthropies and used to support continued funding for recovery and infrastructure work in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Diverting Hate
Overview
Diverting Hate is a nonprofit that counters online radicalization and misogyny aimed at young men. Where the "manosphere" pulls young men toward harmful content, Diverting Hate intercepts those feeds and redirects them toward mental health support, work opportunities, and community.
Challenge
Communicate a complex and technical approach to the issue clearly enough to win funders, partners, and public trust.
